The traditional "southern" crab cakes and deviled crab are usually made with crackers or bread mixed as a filler, along with peppers, onions and other ingredients. "Maryland" crab cakes consist mostly of prime lump crab meat, mayonnaise, and Old Bay or other seasonings. |
