Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand area have long been famous for the
multitudes of restaurants here - Steak Houses, Seafood Buffets, Low Country Seafood,
Japanese,
Barbeque Rib Shacks - over 2500 and growing every day! As
a major vacation mecca, we actually have enough tourists to support
them all. In the summer months, you may have to wait more than an
hour to be seated!
We will make some reference to bargains, average pricing, and higher priced
restaurants. Below are examples of what our ranking symbols mean, and how we've rated some of them.

It should be noted that most of the best Myrtle Beach restaurants
will fall into this higher priced category, with the average tab
for one person with TAX and TIP included being around $20.00.
You get what you pay for, and if you want a meal that you'll remember,
you can expect to pay this price range in the Grand Strand area.
Our opinions are our own, and are not proposed
to be given by food experts or any type of professional...just several
locals in Myrtle Beach who eat out constantly and want to share our experiences.
We will not rate any restaurant as "bad", so if you do not
see a rating, it either means we've never eaten there, or that we don't
recommend it. We are trying to eat at least one meal at every restaurant down here,
just to get an idea of the best ones. We also are riding by the
Myrtle Beach hotels
and making notes for later rating and details. There are so many hotels in Myrtle Beach-
condo rentals and timeshares. Nobody can know them all. But we will try to find
out as much as we can, and welcome suggestions from YOU if you have a good or bad
experience in the hotels or condos.
